Description

EE recognizes that all trekking adventures are not and should not be equal. This unique, partially assisted trek is designed for those who want to have all of the fun and yet suffer no crisis of conscience about allowing off-road vehicles to do their share of the work. Yes, you’ll have your share of trails to backpack, but the SUVs keep the equation balanced to make sure this trek remains up to your ethical standard.

Nature has its own standard – a standard of beauty – and the forested mountains of Karachay-Cherkessia are never accused of not carrying their weight. Flowered pastures, green slopes and crestlines that go on forever pave the way to the Kymgyr-Chad Lakes, a fitting destination for this hike through beauty untamed. Along with at least one of EE’s local guides, enjoy this step back in time with your friends and remember the pure joy of the outdoors.

After the trek you’ll overnight at Arkhyz Resort to recharge your battery. Then, on the way out of town the next day, you’ll stop off at a Karachay home in order to taste their local hospitality and feel their respect for you – their guest. You can expect the culinary landscape to rival that of the nature you’ve just traversed.
