EE recognizes that all trekking adventures are not and should not be equal. This unique, fully-assisted trek is designed for those who love to walk up and down hills, but without ever carrying an overnight pack on their backs. Sure, you’ll have a day pack on your back, but off-road vehicles will carry all of your luggage, as well as the camping equipment and food supplies needed to support this four-day trek.

Day one does pose the challenge of substantial altitude gain, but the hiking is primarily under tree cover. Days two and three offer gradual ups and downs in open crestline terrain with immaculate views of the surrounding valleys. Day five is a half-day downhill stroll to Sentinsky Temple – a preserved 10th Century treasure – that provides a rewarding destination for efforts given.

You’ll enjoy Karachay hospitality to refresh from your adventure as you dine and overnight in a local Karachayevsk home. We need to caution you that you may not want to leave! If you actually decide to catch your return flight, then we’ll also make sure you visit Shoana Church (also 10th Century) and Kislovodsk to buy souvenirs before departing this North Caucasus paradise.
