Our signature excursion offers nothing less than the summit of Mt. Elbrus as its reward. Mount Elbrus is the crown jewel of the North Caucasus and Europe’s highest peak at 5,642 meters – and you have the chance to stand on the top of it! This isn’t a matter of experience or how good your snow suit looks – it’s a matter of divine favor and our joint determination. EE will accompany you on this prepared pathway (southern approach, typically rated at Category 2A) to the top, but it’s not going to be easy. Nothing worth doing ever is!

For four days you’ll acclimatize with EE’s team of local mountain guides, and on the fifth day, weather-permitting, you’ll summit. For the part of this spiritual journey that demands physical preparation, focus your efforts on developing cardiovascular endurance. Our guides will do everything possible to help you, and we’ve included the cost of a Snow Cat in our tour package to jump start your ascent on summit day.

A celebration dinner awaits every brave soul who attempts to summit Mount Elbrus, and we eagerly await hearing stories of mountain heroics from those who make the top. If for some reason you’re unable to summit and you want to try again, then we’ll let you embed in one of our future climbs at no cost to you (beyond visa costs and the airfare to come back). Since Mount Elbrus has twin peaks, EE thinks two for the price of one only seems fair!
